HTA Community Forums - Terms of use
Our goal is to ensure that the HTA Community Forums is a welcoming environment where people of all ages can come together and discuss relevant subjects and topics in a friendly and non-aggressive environment.
By accessing “HTA Community Forums” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “HTA Community Forums”, “https://forums.hiawathamr.com”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “HTA Community Forums”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “HTA Community Forums” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “GNU General Public License v2” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions; phpBB Limited is not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “HTA Community Forums” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “HTA Community Forums” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “HTA Community Forums” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
To comply with the HTA Community Rules, all messages that you submit to the Forum must be appropriate and respectful.
Rules for all posts:
1. Be kind, friendly, and respectful towards others. We will not tolerate any racism or derogatory attitude.
2. We don’t permit any Blaspheming His name anywhere on the forums and your post will be rejected. If you attempt at bypassing the filters and find out, will have the post edited/deleted. Repeated offenders will start receiving account suspensions. We take this very seriously.
3. Spamming is not allowed. Do not spam/over message the on the forums. Do not abuse text formatting.
4. Make sure your post and discussions are under the appropriate category. If you are not sure, read the category details.
5. Advertisements are permitted to other websites that are for the game Trainz (i.e. to your channel, your content website, etc).
6. All content posted must be work-friendly, so no NSFW, religious or political discussions are allowed.
7. Politics aren’t allowed anywhere on the forums.
8. You can only have one account on the HTA Community Forums. If your main profile is banned, you cannot join with another.
9. Only English is allowed on the HTA Community Forums so we can all have a common language and can be moderated.
10. Report any issues to moderators as soon as possible by using the Report function (the ! icon).
11. Respect and follow the instructions from the moderator/owner. If they ask you to stop doing something, stop, even if the rules do not explicitly ban it. If a moderation action you do not agree with is made, try to resolve it with the moderator, but if no solution is given, feel free to contact the owner.
12. We use a 3-strike system on the HTA Community Forums, so we ask you to follow the rules to avoid getting any warnings. More details below.
13. You aren’t allowed to change your username once registered so ensure you select the username you wish to have. If a username breaches the rules, the administrator has the right to change your username.
14. If a forum post / category is password protected, you aren’t permitted to share the contents within the password protected area. Users who wish to view the contents are to register on the HTA Community Forums to view the protected content area.
Guidelines for image attachments:
1. All images uploaded to the HTA Community Forums server must follow all rules stated above.
2. All images uploaded to the HTA Community Forums server are to be used for posts made on the HTA Community Forums. Using our forum server for posting on other websites/forums isn’t permitted and could result in your image(s) being permanently deleted. If you wish to use your image across multiple locations outside of the HTA Community Forums, please upload it to an image hosting service and link it here.
3. All images are still owned by you, and we don’t claim any ownership. You grant us a royalty free license to redistribute the images within the HTA Community Forums.
4. We ask that all images uploaded to the HTA Community Forums are in jpg format. This is to help reduce space taken.
5. All images must be safe for work (SFW).
Guidelines for warnings and bans:
1. The first time you violate one or more parts of the rules you will receive a warning message delivered via Private Message (PM).
2. The second time you violate one or more parts of the rules will result in your account being temporarily banned. Depending on the severity can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
3. The third and final time you violate one or more parts of the rules will result in your account being permanently banned.
Do however note that in the event of severe drama, users that started it will be banned without warning and users involved depending on the severity will receive a warning.
These rules can be updated at any time with or without notice so it’s your responsibility to check often.
